Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the GroundLense web platform and the GroundLense Worker mobile application (together, the "Service"), published by Groundlense Technologies Private Limited, Gurugram, Haryana. By creating an account, accepting an invite, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GroundLense is a geotechnical investigation platform. Engineers use the web application to set up projects, review field logs, and issue reports. Field crews use the Worker app, often offline, to record SPT entries, GPS, and photographs. Photos and GPS timestamps are treated as investigation evidence, not as marketing content.

2. Accounts

Organisation administrators invite colleagues by email or employee code. Field workers activate a PIN or password from a supervisor link (WhatsApp or in-app). You must keep credentials confidential and tell us promptly if an account is compromised. You are responsible for activity under your organisation's workspace.

3. Field data and records

Borehole logs, SPT records, lab results, and attached photographs are recorded on the Service for the organisation that commissioned the investigation. GroundLense hosts, processes, and retains that record to operate the Service. Rights in investigation data are governed by the agreement between GroundLense and that organisation. Personal profile data (name, email, mobile, employee code) is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Metre credits and payments

Organisations purchase metre credit packs on the web dashboard. Checkout is processed by Razorpay. Prices are shown before GST; GST is extra as applicable. Payments and unused metre credits are not refundable. See the Refund Policy. A wallet deficit or a pending Excel accept/deny decision may lock Monitor, Review, and Report on the web portal. Field work and Android sync are not blocked for credit deficit.

5. Acceptable use

You may not reverse-engineer the Service, share login credentials outside your organisation, falsify GPS or photographs, or sell, rent, or advertise using another organisation's investigation data. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these Terms are being abused.

6. Liability

The Service is provided as a platform for recording and reviewing field investigations. Engineering judgement, IS-code compliance of a report, and fitness of a design remain with the licensed professionals who sign them. GroundLense is not liable for loss arising from field practice, lab error, or decisions made on the basis of a report. Statutory and audit records may be retained as required by Indian law or a client contract, as described on the deletion page.

7. Deletion

You may request deletion of your account without signing in. We verify the request with the account owner and complete deletion within 30 days of verification. See Delete my account for what is erased and what investigation records the organisation keeps.
